Walk with Jesus: A 90-Day Journey to Know Him, Follow Him, and Find Rest
Share
There’s something I’ve been longing for personally, deeply, quietly.
Not more noise. Not more content. Not more to-do lists or spiritual checkboxes.
Just Jesus.
And maybe you’ve felt that, too.
That quiet pull in your heart to get away from the busyness, to step out of the noise coming from every direction, and simply sit at the feet of Jesus like His disciples did …to be with Him. To listen. To learn.
That longing is exactly what led me to create Walk with Jesus: A 90-Day Gospel Reading Plan and Devotional.
As the author and co-founder of Seek First Resources, this wasn’t something I created just to put another resource into the world. This was born out of a desire to help people return to the most important thing:
Knowing Jesus. Walking with Him. Following Him intimately and personally every single day.
Who This Is For
This plan is for you if you’re longing for more of Jesus.
It’s for the person who just wants to be with Him—to slow down, to breathe, to sit in His presence and learn from Him.
It’s for the one who feels overwhelmed by life and is craving something deeper, quieter, and more meaningful.
It’s also for those who are newer to walking with Jesus and who are asking: Who is He, really? What does it actually mean to follow Him?
And it’s for those who have known Him for a while but feel that gentle nudge to revisit His life, His teachings, His love, and to deepen their first love again.
An Invitation from Jesus Himself
In Matthew 11:28–30 NIV, Jesus says:
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
That invitation still stands today, and Walk with Jesus is for those who are ready to accept it. It’s for those who are hungry to come to Him, to find rest in Him, and to walk with Him daily.
This isn’t about striving harder.
It’s about drawing nearer.
It’s about actively and intentionally seeking Jesus as Lord, being led by His Spirit, and becoming more like Him—one day at a time.
What the Plan and Devotional Looks Like
Each day is designed to help you encounter Jesus in a simple, meaningful, and personal way.
You can complete it in as little as 15 minutes a day, or you can take your time and linger in Scripture, sit in His presence, and go deeper.
Every day includes:
-
A Gospel passage — walking through the life of Jesus: His birth, ministry, teachings, death, resurrection, and ascension
-
A daily meditation — focusing your heart on who Jesus is
-
A short devotional (from me) — to help you connect personally with what you’re reading and see yourself in the story
-
Reflection questions — to help you go deeper, ask honest questions, and truly consider what it means to follow Him
-
Prayer & Apply section — guiding you in responding to Jesus and living out His teachings in your daily life
This isn’t just about checking the box for reading your Bible for the day. It’s about encountering Jesus in Scripture.
A Companion for Your Time with God
This plan pairs beautifully with the Seek First Journal, but it’s also a perfect companion to anyone’s personal time of Bible reading and prayer.
Whether you’re just starting your journey or have been walking with Jesus for years, this is a space to slow down, listen, and grow.
An Invitation for This Season
With Easter around the corner, there’s no better time to begin.
This is an invitation to spend the next 90 days walking closely with Jesus and learning from Him, sitting with Him, becoming more like Him.
I want to encourage you to take one more step: Think of one person in your life, or maybe a few people, who would benefit from this.
A friend.
A family member.
Someone searching.
Someone weary.
Order a copy for them, too.
Walk through it together. Start conversations. Encourage one another.
